Sync Price/Stock settings

General Information

{primary} The more products, the higher the synchronization cycle must be.
The higher the synchronization cycle, the longer you give H4G.io time to synchronize your products.

1. When should I switch to a two-hour, three-hour, four-hour sync cycle?

If you want to offer a large number of products, you have to change the synchronization cycle.


Example:

  • You want to offer 10.000 Products via WooCommerce.
  • The sync cycle is set to Hourly (default).
  • Your shop does not have the correct cloud architecture or has not been optimized for speed.


Result :

H4G.io will try to sync all of your products in an hour.
After an hour, H4G has just updated 5.500 products.
Syncing will stop automatically in an hour.
4500 products remain unsynchronized.

Solution :

Please set the synchronization cycle to every 2 hours

2. Are there any other advantages if the synchronization cycle is set to a longer period ?

2.1 Advantage : Yes, definitely. Because if you rely on the WooCommerce shop system, you can save computing power.
As a result, your shop runs much more smoothly and improves the user experience.

Sync Cycle Setting

{primary} The default Sync Cycle is hourly. If you change the synchronization cycle, the change will take effect from the next full hour.

1. Navigate to the Dashboard

2. Click on the cogwheel (or open settings via nav-menu)

3. Scroll down to the "Synchronization Settings"

4. Select your preferred synchronization cycle

5. Click on the "Save Sync Settings" button
