General Information

{primary} H4G currently only supports the SMTP protocol.
The information for configuring the SMTP client can be found in the interface of your domain hosting provider.

Open Mail Settings

1. Navigate to the Control Dashboard. There you will find several draggable widgets.

  • You will find a widget here called "Mail Settings".
  • Click on the tab called "Settings"

Setup

  • Enter the information from your hosting provider here

Gmail

Important notice for Gmail SMTP

To use the google mail servers you have to do following steps :

Settings for google SMTP


  • SMTP server: smtp.gmail.com
  • SMTP username: Your full Gmail address, such as youremail@gmail.com
  • SMTP password: Your Gmail password.
  • SMTP port: 465 (SSL)/587 (TLS)
  • TLS/SSL: Required.

Configuration Test

1. Navigate to the Control Dashboard. There you will find several draggable widgets.

  • You will find a widget here called "Mail Settings".
  • Click on the tab called "Tester"
  • Give in an email, where you have access to
  • Click on button "Send"

    If the email has arrived, your settings are correct

Mail Template

General Information

You can enter a custom generated HTML & CSS code into the email template.
Email templates can be downloaded free of charge from the Internet, adapted and stored at H4G.io.

Only the [ordernumber] tag can be used in the subject.

Mail Tags

[order] [ordernumber] [firstname] [lastname]

Tag Description
[firstname] Firstname of customer (if provided)
[lastname] Lastname of customer (if provided)
[ordernumber] WooCommerce or Shopify Ordernumber
[order] Table with product activation key/s
